Strategic Security: Web Applications Scanners
By Administrator | June 5, 2008
Much as Web 2.0 carries with it a large amount of big ideas, many information security pros find themselves awake at night of the concept of RIAs. Rich Internet Applications splitting intelligence between client and server is a basic shift is a risky one given the sad state of browser security. On the other hand, while it affects only a subset of RIAs, the Ajax development model has both momentum and traits that make eliminating vulnerabilities a real challenge.
Even if web application scanners can help, the implementation remains to be tricky. For the review, the group decided to consider the entire decision making process instead of just focusing on boxed Web application scanners. At least four distinct paths to RIA and Ajax security were found.

iPod Can’t Exist Without iTunes (Part 4)
By editor | May 31, 2008
So if you plug in your sister’s, friends’ or someone else’s iPod to your computer and you registered YOUR iPod to that iTunes application, you will have two choices: say yes when you want your files in that iTunes (and your iPod) copied to that other person’s iPod and re-register your iPod in that iTunes application. Or, ignore the message, say no, and it will just charge the battery of that someone else’s iPod. A perk of iTunes is that you can burn your own cd. You don’t have to stress about downloading a program to burn your music into cd, iTunes can do that for you too.

iPod Can’t Exist Without iTunes (Part 3)
By editor | May 28, 2008
iTunes is like the iPod in your computer. When you are on your computer, you can listen to the music you have placed in the application for your iPod. You can play the music while doing your work, either play it on speakers or you can plug in your iPod earphones into your laptop/computer or if it has its own hearing contraption. The iTunes application used to be part of your purchased iPod, but nowadays, you will have to download it from the net which might take a while. The iTunes in your computer is quite selfish, because it will only work for the iPod with the exact serial number that you entered for the first time.

By editor | May 22, 2008
You just bought an iPod? Congratulations! I bet you can not wait to put all your favorite music in their, and if it can, put some your photos and favorite videos maybe? iPod also acts as an USB, and if you have experience using a USB, it stores files, and all you have to do is plug it in at a USB portal of your laptop or personal computer. So if the iPod is also like a USB, you can just plug it in using its USB cord, and a windows explorer will appear so you can copy-paste your songs, photos, videos and several files. Easy? Wrong!

Plus-Minus
By editor | May 12, 2008
Warning, this game is for the human calculators only! Kidding, anyone can play this game, as long as they have the patience and the math skills. This is another game available for the iPhone. On the screen you will find numbers in boxes and empty boxes in between them. You will have to fill the empty boxes in between the numbers with either a plus sign or a minus sign. The key here is to look at the number after the empty box or look at all the numbers in the rows and columns. Usually at the end of each column and row, there’s that goal that you have to reach, which is zero.
