Netvibes is a home page which users can customize to include Atom/RSS feeds, email, search engines, to-do’s and notes, weather forecasts and other widgets. It was launched on September 15, 2005 and is translated in different languages due to popular usage. A standard Netvibes page has an RSS/Atom feed reader, local weather forecasts, bookmarks and notes, a calendar supporting iCal, writely word processor, multiple search engines, different webmail providers like Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail and AOL mail, and many more features. Users can also change the way a Netvibes page looks like either by choosing from available themes or by creating their own designs. Users need not to register to access Netvibes, however, to save a personalized homepage, users must register with an email address and a password.
